August Advocacy

Posted on

Every year, Congressional Members take the month of August to spend time in their State or District to learn more about the issues that matter most to the people they represent. This is a great chance to connect with the local office – every Member has at least one office in their State or District – and educate their staff on the needs for the GBS|CIDP and variants community!

Connecting with your Members of Congress might include visiting the local office in-person, calling the office to speak with a staff person, attending a local town-hall, or dropping off information about the Foundation and our priorities. Join us at your own convenience for this BONUS advocacy opportunity! If you are interested in connecting with your Senators or Representative sometime during the August Recess, sign up below and a member of the GBS|CIDP Advocacy Team will help you connect with the office, provide talking points, and help you share your story.
