Thriving Nine Year Old Girl
My daughter was five years old when she was diagnosed with GBS. She was paralyzed from the waist down. She spent one week in the hospital with a 5 day course of IVIG. Upon release, she spent nine months doing intensive occupational and physical therapy, including hippotherapy. She has gone through more in her short life than some adults do. Today, she is a wild and thriving nine year old little girl with no residual issues from GBS.
