Life is Good

Life is Good By Robert Neuenschwander

By Robert Neuenschwander

My hero is my wife, Kathleen, who has also been my caretaker. CIDP hit me in September of 2013 and within two and a half months I was almost totally paralyzed. I could move my head and neck but nothing else. Kathy got a lift and slings and every morning got me out of bed and into the wheelchair and all other transfers necessary throughout the day until going to bed again that night. This went on for about 3 months until prednisone started to help me gain mobility. The rest has been lots of prayer and therapy. Today, when I walk, you can’t tell anything is wrong, however I can’t walk very far. Life is good. I love my wife more than my life. She’s my angel.
