Kelly McCoy
Director of Patient Engagement
Kelly McCoy joined the GBS|CIDP Foundation International in 2015, inspired by her personal journey with CIDP. After being diagnosed in 2014 and navigating the challenges of a rare disease, Kelly found strength and purpose in connecting with others facing similar experiences. Today, she proudly serves as Director of Patient Engagement, where she leads the Foundation’s patient services programs and educational events with heart, empathy, and determination.
A dedicated advocate, Kelly feels deeply honored to support individuals and families living with GBS, CIDP, and MMN. She is especially proud of the Foundation’s signature programs—from meaningful peer connections to impactful in-person events—and considers it a privilege to work alongside such a passionate staff and inspiring community.
Kelly lives in Conshohocken, PA, with her two children, Ava and Max. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends—and cheering loudly for her beloved Philadelphia sports teams (Go Eagles!).
“When I was first diagnosed with CIDP, I felt so alone. Finding the Foundation gave me purpose and belonging—and I’m endlessly grateful to be part of this community.”
