Event Description
Living with GBS, CIDP, or MMN can bring physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges that affect every part of life. In this meaningful webinar, Psychologist Paola Gamboa, shares a message of hope and healing through the lens of Logotherapy, a meaning-centered approach that helps individuals find purpose even in the midst of suffering, uncertainty, and loss.
Drawing from her personal experience after the loss of her son, Sebastián, Paola reflects on how meaning can support the recovery journey and reminds us that illness may shape part of a person’s experience, but it does not define who they are. She explores the teachings of Viktor Frankl, including the three types of values—creative, experiential, and attitudinal—and five pathways to meaning: self-knowledge, uniqueness, the capacity to choose, self-transcendence, and gratitude.
Participants will leave with practical reflections and tools to support everyday coping, including focusing on the present moment, reframing difficult questions from “why” to “what for,” and using journaling to reconnect with intention, purpose, and hope along the path to recovery.
