Stojan Peric, MD

Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade

Dr. Stojan Peric is employed at the Department for Neuromuscular Disorders, Neurology Clinic, University Clinical Center of Serbia. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. The main fields of his clinical and scientific work are acquired and inherited polyneuropathies, muscular dystrophies and other myopathies, neuromuscular junction diseases, as well as motor neuron diseases. He has published more than 170 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. His h-index is 35 according to Google Scholar and 28 according to Scopus. Dr. Peric is an Associate Editor of the European Journal of Neurology and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Peripheral Nervous System. He served as Co-Chair of the EAN Panel for Neuropathies from 2022 to 2024. He has also served as Co-Chair of the TREAT-NMD Global Myotonic Dystrophy Registry from 2022 to 2025.
