Melanie Kamuesa
Research and Global Health Manager
Melanie Kamuesa is a Namibian-American professional with a background in research, patient care, and public health. She began her career in clinical settings and later served as a Disease Intervention Specialist, where she supported community-based initiatives and infectious disease response.
As Research and Global Health Manager, Melanie brings a whole-person, equity-centered approach to her work. Her dual cultural perspective informs her commitment to inclusive research and meaningful patient engagement. Outside of work, she is a certified Pilates and cycling instructor who sees movement, food, and community as powerful tools for healing.
