Nancy DiSalvo Interviewed in Rarity Life Magazine; GBS|CIDP Foundation Featured in Two Powerful Articles

Posted on

We are proud to share that Nancy DiSalvo, Director of International Affairs at the GBS|CIDP Foundation International, was recently interviewed in Rarity Life magazine, a publication dedicated to elevating the voices of the rare disease community. Her interview, featured in the article “The Importance of Connection,” beautifully reflects the Foundation’s core belief: no one facing GBS, CIDP, or MMN should ever walk alone.

In the article, Nancy shares how the Foundation has fostered a global network of support for patients and families, emphasizing the value of human connection in navigating rare, life-altering conditions. Her words highlight the impact of empathy, understanding, and shared experience in the healing process.

The Foundation is also featured in another moving piece on the same issue, titled “A Life Shaded by Pain.” This article tells the story of a GBS patient living with chronic pain and how they found strength and hope through the resources and support of the GBS|CIDP Foundation. It’s a powerful reminder of the ongoing challenges many in our community face—and the importance of having a place to turn for help.

We’re honored to be included in this edition of Rarity Life, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness of GBS, CIDP, and MMN on such a thoughtful and compassionate platform.
