New Center of Excellence in Denton, Texas
Our Global Medical Advisory Board has set standards for what they consider to be excellent medical centers for the diagnosis and treatment of GBS and CIDP, MMN and related neuropathies. Based on levels of expertise, available treatments, facilities, and research capabilities, the COE’s are the medical centers that we can unequivocally recommend as “Centers of Excellence”. The Foundation has currently recognized 58 medical facilities, worldwide, as Center of Excellence for GBS|CIDP and variant conditions. Today, please join us in welcoming the Neurology & Neuromuscular Care Center and the Neurology Rare Disease Center of Denton Texas to the GBS|CIDP Foundation International Center of Excellence roster. Founded and directed by Foundation Global Medical Advisor Dr. Diana Castro, the center is a non-profit private neuromuscular clinic and research center. Dr. Castro is a Board Certified Neurologist and Neuromuscular Physician and is a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. She is a frequent presenter at GBS|CIDP Foundation symposiums and events, and a contributor to the Foundation’s extensive library of online resources. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Castro and the Neurology & Neuromuscular Care Center and the Neurology Rare Disease Center. For more information about the center click here.
