“Support Your Nervous System for a Healthy Life” Workshop

Price:  $30 *50% of the proceeds will benefit the GBS|CIDP Foundation International

Details:  This interactive workshop will be co-taught by Kristen Morgan (Pittsburgh Walk & Roll Chair) and Sterling Painton (Owner of Sterling Yoga & Wellness Center).  Kristen began practicing yoga with Sterling as part of a healthy lifestyle to manage her CIDP symptoms.  Sterling’s teaching, which combines her knowledge of the Iyengar tradition with the benefits of restorative yoga, was the perfect fit for Kristen’s needs.  Kristen will answer basic questions such as: What is the Nervous System?  What is the myelin sheath?  What does a healthy nerve vs. an unhealthy nerve look like?  Why is your nervous system important?  Then, Sterling will teach a series of yoga poses to support a healthy nervous system – including,  “Legs on the Wall” pose!  The evening will end with a restorative pose and a question and answer session.
