Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is a treatment for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). Over the course of several hours, naturally occurring antibodies from healthy volunteers are given through a vein. IVIG is the only CIDP treatment that has received FDA, Canadian and European approval, and newer preparations of higher concentrations – called subcutaneous, or subQ – are being tested currently.

Join us for a free, live video education program that will help families facing CIDP:

  • Compare different treatment options with doctors
  • Understand side effects of each option, and learn how they can be managed
  • Make an IVIG treatment strategy in partnership with care teams
