May is National GBS-CIDP Awareness Month

The Foundation provides support, education, research and advocacy and is proud to announce May as National GBS-CIDP Awareness Month.

GBS, CIDP, AIDP, MMN, and variants are rare disorders of the peripheral nerves typified by rapidly ascending weakness, and often paralysis, evolving usually over days to one to four weeks. At any one time, between 5,000 and 10,000 people in the United States are affected.
